This notice was read at public worship on Sunday 17 November 2024.

At the Kirk Session meeting on Wednesday 6th November the elders received communication from the General Trustees and the Law Department regarding the sale of Craigie Church. Since the legacy presbytery of Perth approved the presbytery plan the session knew that the sale was inevitable. The building will now go on the market but there is no indication of when a sale will take place. The selling of the building now lies with the General Trustees and we would expect them to continue to inform the Kirk Session and congregation of any progress.

“For sale” signs will soon appear and the Kirk Session wanted to prepare the congregation, realising that it may be upsetting. As yet we have no date for the arrival of the signage.

Meanwhile conversations between Craigie & Moncreiffe and St. Leonard's-in-the- Fields are continuing, for the presbytery plan sets out that there will be a union.

The Kirk Session and Interim Moderator will continue to follow the protocols and seek to keep the congregation informed of any developments.
