Messy Church will meet again on Sunday 29th October at 10:45 in Moncreiffe Church. We are continuing our theme of care for God's wonderful creation and what we can do to make a difference.
We had hoped to have an outing to the Community Garden but unfortunately none of the volunteers are available to meet with us on that day. We may perhaps be able to go in the spring and help out in some way. We will instead be doing some planting of seeds, learning together how to grow and nurture plants. There will be the usual music, games and lunch. All are welcome to this intergenerational worship.
We will meet again on Sunday 26th November, when we have Perth Puppet Ministry coming to start the Advent season.
“Messy Church is church for families/folks who might want to meet Jesus, belong to their local church and bring up their children as Christians, but can’t cope with Sunday morning church services. It’s a once a month time of creativity, worship and eating together”.
Messy Meetings last for 2 hours. They begin with a Bible-based story, followed by related craft activities, a time of worship and the sharing of food.
Everyone is invited – young and old alike, adults, children, teenagers, grandparents, friends, families or partners, or come on your own. Entrance is free.
If you are under 12, you need to bring someone over 16 with you.
