19 January 2024Harbour Counselling seeks volunteer trustees

Harbour Counselling Service is a Christian counselling organisation based in Shore Street Perth. It offers professional counselling, free at the point of access, to clients from Perth and the surrounding area.

The organisation needs Board members to keep the charity functioning as it should. The Board of Trustees meets monthly with the treasurer and practice manager in attendance. Basically, it is responsible for policy finance, legal matters and, based on discussions with the Manager, certain operational issues.

Do you know anyone who might be suitable? Are you interested yourself? Contact Sarah Lawson at sarah37@blueyonder.co.uk or 07799 248344, or see other details in the image below.

06 December 2023National church opportunities

The Church of Scotland is looking for volunteers to serve on national bodies, from the Life and Work Advisory Committee to the Social Care Council / Crossreach.

Watch this video for more information or drop a line to nominations@churchofscotland.org.uk.

Nominees must be members of the Church of Scotland. Serving nationally is a good way of getting to know the Church better, and engaging with others from across the country and beyond. While it needs commitment and can be time-consuming and demanding, it is a real opportunity to extend one’s Christian service and witness.
