The Quaich was gifted to the Church by the late Ron Proudfoot who was en Elder for many years in Craigie Church. He wanted to see the strengths, talents, courage and achievements of our young people being recognised.
Each year the youth organisations nominate someone they think is deserving of the Young Achievers Quaich to the Kirk Session for consideration.
This years winner was Jacob Juggins who was nominated by Boys Brigade Captain John Brown. John nominated Jacob because despite a challenging medical condition he manages to play a full part in all the Boys Brigade activities. Jacob is seen here receiving the Quaich from Session Clerk Cecilia Higgins. You can read more about Jacob in the latest issue of the Craigie & Moncreiffe Chronicle by clicking on the magazine tab at the top of the page.
Well done Jacob for all your hard work.
